SDA altered an existing introverted bar and restaurant with an extension that opens dramatically to views of the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges from both an indoor dining area and a large shaded deck. Christened the Juicy Rump Bar and Restaurant, the new venue greatly enhanced the alfresco dining opportunities available in Alice Springs, embracing the climate of the region and providing a contemporary, relaxed atmosphere.

Diners can also see into the new commercial kitchen, which is concealed later in the evening by a floor to ceiling curtain when the area converts to a nightclub. The floating cloud-shaped ceiling panels enhance the nightclub ambience while providing a level of acoustic management.
